SOLACE FROM THE VOICES WE MOURN
TAKE HEART; By Pwaberi Denis Wedam
Why mourn?
I’m now a guest
Though you feel I’m no more
I’ve found eternal rest

At last I’m home
More serene than Vatican of Rome
But how do I relay my story?
The one of success and victory
And the triumph in the battle
To those who’re still in the struggle

Wipe away your streamy tears
And bear no gloomy fears
Brace yourselves and continue race
Because I’m great on this gleeful journey
To a land of flourishing honey
Begrudge not death
For by his innate duty to kill,
He runs errands without any bills
When I was called to duty
I could not say  no though I loved you,
I still do but He loves me more
